LA LUZ BEACH RESORT, SAN JUAN BATANGAS

PICTURES for you!

Dsc04983I still believe in paradise, but now at least I know it is not some place that you can look for because it is not where you go.. It's how you feel for a moment in your life when you are a part of something. And if you find that moment, it lasts forever. "The Beach."

La Luz is a small resort on a property that has been privately owned for over 30 years and was recently opened to the public. The resort was only meant to be a hide away for a family of 13 children and hence the many rooms and a large pavilion.

LaluzThe resort prides itself in having a very relaxed and natural atmosphere. The founders have made sure that the natural habitat is maintained, and have chosen native materials that are usually available in the area. Furthermore, the marine sanctuary is located directly in front of the resort, where guests can enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving.

The resort gladly accepts corporate reservations and offers to facilitate games like volleyball, Kayak race, swimming, tug-of-war, sack race and other events that are perfect for team building. A nightly bonfire is also provided on the beach for resort guests.

BORACAY BEACH HOPPING

Dsc02320_1 Every day seems to be a holiday on Boracay - all you need to do is relax and enjoy yourself. Just get up, make some coffee and decide whether to go sailing, windsurfing or perhaps snorkeling and looking at corals. Boracay is also well known for its now very rare gleaming white puka shells at Puka Beach, said to be the best in the world. There are good snorkeling at Ilig-Iligan Beach in the north-east and at little Crocodile Island just off the Southeast coast. But beware of the strong currents that can often be encountered on the east coast of Boracay. Especially off Crocodile Island and Laurel Island the undertow has been known to put the wind up even strong swimmers. Laurel Island offers a unique attraction for snorkelers. Through an opening in the rocky floor, an iron ladder leads to a partly flooded cave.
